Baron Fig 2018 Planner

Getting the jump on 2018

The fact that 2017 is almost over is nuts – it seems like only yesterday I was getting ready for Spring and now the snow in NH is getting ready to fall. With a few weeks to go it’s the perfect time to get your 2018 planner picked out and prepped for 2018. Enter the Baron Fig 2018 Confidant Planner – a Year/Month/Week combo planner with the added benefit of a dot-grid notes section to keep everything straight.

The Confidant is a great base for the planner – with it’s lay-flat spine and well built binding you know it is going to stand up to daily use and not fall apart by mid-March. Overall dimensions for the planner are 5.4″ X 7.7″ with each of the sub-section measurements as follows:

Monthly Pages:
M-F box size –  1.75″x1.18″
S-S box size –  0.56″x1.75″

Weekly Pages:
M-F box size –  5.25″x2.12″
S-S box size –  2.50″x2.12″

Dot Grid:
Grid spacing 0.375″

The 2018 edition features a wrapped charcoal cover with 2018 debossed in the corner. The off-white paper lives up to the usual “everything” friendly experience I had with the “Raspberry Honey” Confidant special edition I reviewed earlier this year.

With the addition of the 55 dot grid pages you get the additional benefit of a journal added in, keeping your daily carry to a minimum if you like to pack light. This addition essentially gives you a page per week, and is probably spot on for any extra notes or thoughts that will not fit in either the monthly or weekly sections – or to drop a sketch in when you forget your notebook (guilty of that on a weekly basis).

Pricing on the 2018 Confidant Planner is $22 which puts it in the same price range of similar planners on the market. You can snag one form Baron Fig over on their website – but hurry, 2018 is right around the corner!

Full Disclosure: The notebook was sent my way at no charge by the folks at Baron Fig for review purposes.
